Find Your "Sweet Spot"!
In the world of sports, the "sweet spot" is that place on a baseball
bat, tennis racquet, or golf club that when hit properly the swing
becomes very effective with little effort. Learning to hit the sweet
spot is one reason athletes like Barry Bonds, Andre Agassi, and Tiger
Woods swing so effortlessly, yet with such force.
God designed you with a Sweet
Spot too. It's the area in which your S.H.A.P.E. is best expressed,
typically recognized in those moments when others comment on your
special ability to do something. When you operate in this area, you,
like Bonds, Agassi, and Woods, are very effective and efficient. More
important, when you are serving others within your Sweet Spot, you feel
little or no negative force in your life because you are being true to
who God made you to be.
The Serving Sweet Spot™
Assessment is designed to help you further understand how you are
uniquely created by God, which will help you determine the most
fulfilling environment to fulfill your Kingdom Dream and Kingdom
Purpose. You will be asked a series of questions that should take
approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please read and follow the
instruction at the start of each new section. When you are finished,
you will be provided with a personalize Serving Sweet Spot™ Profile,
which will clearly identify:
- Your Serving Strengths: The spiritual gifts and natural abilities that God has given you to serve others!
- Your Serving Group: The people you love serving and impacting for God’s glory!
- Your Serving Desires: The needs you love meeting in another persons life!
- Your Serving Setting: The ideal place that maximizes your personality so you can make the greatest impact for God!
When you are able to serve in a setting that best expresses your
strengths and allows you to meet the needs of the people you are most
passionate about, you are in your sweet spot. Once you are done, you
will be able to see your profile and send copies to family and friends
so they can help you reach your full potential. You may also want to
send a copy to your pastor, ministry leader or small group leader.

Step Two:
Fill out the online assessment tool here. Enter your assessment code
and under the church name, select "Journey’s Crossing". When you are
finished, print out your profile.
INSTRUCTIONS: GO WITH YOUR GUT...Many people have
completed this assessment and have found it very helpful. However, to
get the MOST accurate score go with your gut feeling when you answer
the questions. In addition, give yourself permission to indicate who
you truly are. Don't worry about what others may think...that is never
the goal of serving God. God designed you to just be you!

Schedule an appointment to meet with a Journey's Crossing staff person, coach or ministry leader to explore the possibilities.
